This post is created to test the hero image functionality. The image should appear at the top of this article.
How to Add Hero Images
When creating a blog post via Decap CMS:
- Click “New Blog Post”
- Fill in the title and description
- Click “Choose an image” for Hero Image
- Upload your image (will be saved to
/public/images/blog/) - The image path will be automatically set as
/images/blog/your-image.jpg
Image Requirements
For best results:
- Recommended size: 1200x630px (2:1 ratio)
- Format: JPG or PNG
- Max file size: < 500KB for performance
The hero image will be:
- Displayed at the top of the blog post
- Used for OpenGraph/social media sharing
- Responsive on mobile devices
